Large  blanket chest with geometric molding on all sides.  Features molding around the top, top rests on the interior, and is finished on all four sides.  Very solid and quite heavy.  Resting on bracket feet that are boxed on the ends.   Most likely purpleheart wood, an extremely dense wood - one of the hardest and stiffest known - and native to central and south America.  Centennial or early 20th century.
