Rare mahogany working model of a roll top desk.  All drawers are dovetailed, and the central drawer to the base has a locking mechanism that locks all other drawers.  Features roll top, ivory knobs, and pull out writing surface with cubby holes and small drawers above.  A most exceptional example of a salesman sample. Measures 10" H x 6" D x 12" W.  Probably English, c. 1840.
